Terms & Conditions

The rules of the road for using ePort. Please read carefully.

Last updated: December 2025

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ePort platform — including our website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the "Platform") — operated by ePort Agritech Pvt. Ltd. By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. Role of ePort

ePort acts solely as an intermediary and service provider that connects Indian exporters with verified international buyers. We facilitate discovery, communication, payment, and logistics. We are not a party to the underlying contract of sale between buyer and seller.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You must be a legally registered business with valid GSTIN and IEC code (for exporters).
  • You must provide accurate, current and complete information at all times.

3. Commission-Based Business Model

ePort charges a commission and/or service fee on successful trades executed via the Platform. The applicable commission, payment terms and any platform charges will be displayed transparently before you confirm any booking or bid. By proceeding, you agree to the displayed fees.

4. User Responsibilities & Trade Compliance

You — the exporter or buyer — are solely responsible for:

  • Compliance with all applicable Indian and international laws — including FEMA, GST, customs, DGFT, sanitary/phyto-sanitary, and import-country regulations.
  • Accuracy and quality of products listed and shipped.
  • Timely fulfilment of orders, shipping documentation, and dispute resolution with counterparties.
  • Payment of all applicable taxes, duties, and tariffs.
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

5. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • List counterfeit, restricted or illegal products.
  • Engage in price manipulation, fake bids, or fraudulent transactions.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Platform's operation.
  • Use the Platform to launder money or finance any illegal activity.

6. Payments & Settlements

All payments are processed via Razorpay or other authorised gateways. Settlements to exporters happen in line with the timelines disclosed at the time of booking. ePort is not liable for delays caused by banks, payment processors, or regulatory holds beyond our control.

7. No Liability for Market Fluctuations

Mandi rates, CIF estimates, and other market data on ePort are provided for informational purposes only. ePort makes no guarantee of profitability or future price movement. You acknowledge that international trade involves market, currency, and counterparty risks, and that ePort is not liable for losses arising from market fluctuations, exchange rate movements, or trade decisions made based on platform data.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ePort's aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with the Platform shall not exceed the total commission paid by you to ePort in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. ePort shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

9. Suspension & Termination

ePort reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account, without prior notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraud, or pose a risk to other users.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — logos, designs, software, market data, and editorial content — is owned by or licensed to ePort. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute it without prior written permission.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
