Privacy Policy

When you register, list products, or transact on ePort, we collect:

• Personal information — name, mobile number, email address.
• Business information — business name, GSTIN, IEC code, PAN, bank details, and address.
• Trade information — products listed, orders, bids, invoices, and shipping documents.
• Device & usage data — IP address, device type, OS, app version, and pages visited (used for analytics and fraud prevention).

All payments on ePort are processed through Razorpay, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment gateway. We do not store your full card or banking credentials on our servers. Razorpay handles encryption, tokenization, and settlement in line with RBI guidelines. By making a payment you also agree to Razorpay's terms and privacy policy.

We send transactional alerts — order confirmations, shipment updates, payment receipts and OTPs — over WhatsApp and SMS using Twilio. By providing your mobile number you consent to receive these messages. You may opt out of marketing notifications at any time, but transactional messages may continue for active orders.

• To create and manage your account.
• To verify buyers, sellers, and ensure trade compliance.
• To process payments, invoicing, and settlements.
• To provide live mandi rates, market intelligence, and recommendations.
• To comply with applicable laws including GST, customs, and FEMA regulations.
• To prevent fraud and protect platform integrity.

We share your data only with verified counterparties (buyers/sellers you transact with), logistics partners required to fulfil shipments, payment processors, and statutory authorities when legally required. We never sell your personal data to third parties.

We use industry-standard safeguards — TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage at rest, access controls, and regular security audits — to protect your information. Despite these measures, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

You have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Modify — update incorrect or outdated information from your profile.
• Delete — request deletion of your account and associated personal data, subject to record-keeping obligations under applicable law.
• Withdraw consent — opt out of marketing communications at any time.

ePort is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notice. Continued use of ePort after such changes indicates your acceptance.
